About P.E.A.C.E.

Since Fall 1994, PEACE has been the student environmental organization at Long Island University -Southampton College. With the closure of Southampton, PEACE is relocating to Long Island University -C.W. Post this September.

PEACE is dedicated to the continual protection of the environment both locally and globally. Locally, PEACE is concerned with a greening of the campus and sets an example by working on environmental issues that arise on campus and around Long Island. Globally, PEACE deals with environmental issues and related social problems. From attending conferences to improving the quality of life on campus and around the world, PEACE is dedicated to making the world a better place, starting from the campus and working outward.
