Meeting Monday with Advisor Scott Carlin
The first unofficial meeting of the semester will be held this Monday with our advisor Scott Carlin. We'll be going over PEACE's strategy for this upcoming semester as well as establishing leaders. A big part of the meeting will be talking about the Recycling Committee.
Time: 11:00 am
Location: PEACE Office (Room 209 in Hillwood Commons)
See everyone there!
Recycling Victory!!

Thanks to everyone's help last semester the Recycling Proposal was approved last week. A meeting was held with the staff from Campus Services, Dr. Pamela Lennox, Amy Urquhart, Craig Harris from Student Life and Leadership Development, and Christopher Johnson, the new SGA President.
The work does not stop here though. We have a lot to do in a short amount of time. We need to write a proposal for the Green Fee and have SGA approve it before March. We also have to write a proposal for the environmental coordinator position. Plus, we need to write up information about a possible Environmental Assistant Position for the dorms. Craig Harris will be helping us with this process, so don't freak.
If you're interested in helping the PEACE Recycling Committee please contact Elisha Gibson or Kasey Jacobs.
Great job everyone! Let's keep moving strong.

P.E.A.C.E. Party

Come have fun at the last P.E.A.C.E. Meeting of the semester!
Monday 9pm in the Student Court/P.E.A.C.E. Office
This party is pot luck so please bring a snack of some kind or a drink.
Also, please bring something to decorate the office (map, picture, flower, poster, comic, etc). Anything that you think would spruce up the office and be a good welcoming for the leaders next semester.
