Hey Everyone
Ok, so here's what happened tonight in case you don't already know.
Bhopal Art Contest. We are doing this despite a negative response from the student art league. There's two phases:
1) Bhopal art contest within the art department. Flyers are being distributed through Molly and hopefully her professor. The incentive will be ability to be put on Students for Bhopal website and possibly sent to a museum in Bhopal, India. Way cool!!
2) Impromptu Interactive Art display. Basically we set up a huge board under a tent in front of humanities made of either ply wood or drywall. We hand out literature and speak to students about Bhopal and have them paint on the board to express what they feel about it. The week of November 28. The anniversary of Bhopal is December 2nd at night.
Things to do for this:
Kasey is emailing Molly flyer to go to professors
Kasey is emailing Andy info to make flyer to hand out once we get information from Suzanne in Student Affairs
Kasey and Peter are buying supplies from Home Depot on Friday around 3PM
Andy is buying spray paint in NYC on Tuesday night. Bring me or Peter the receipt.
Someone is going to contact the Indian cultural club to see if they want to help.
We need judges for the contest.
Things to buy:
spray paint, regular paint, ply wood/dry wall/2x4s, white paint and roller, nails, screws, staples, newspapers, brace, etc. We need to rent tent, tables, chairs, and perhaps get a bullhorn?
Next we talked about RECYCLING COMMITTEE
Next meeting Hillwood 2:15PM Thursday. We'll have the final draft done and also we'll be discussing Fridays presentation. Come with ideas for the presentation. Jess, would it be okay to list you as the coordinator for the presentation on Friday?
Everyone NEEDS to be present at the SASAC meeting on Friday at 12:00PM in the Chapel Lounge. There will be free food. We want as much PEACE support as possible. Drag your friends, FREE FOOD!!

Andy-contact and find good date for, Second week in December. Dec 5 through the 8th are the choices. Andy's creating flyer.
Kasey and Peter are finding out about insurance for thsi to see if we can pay.
We need to book a room as well. I think the Cinema would be a good place, but we'll have to see.
Kasey has to order recycling wrapping paper for ornament making.
